welcome to The Ram's Lodge

Situated in the vibrant area of Fallowfield/Withington (a residential area 3 miles South of Manchester city centre, which is highly populated with students), The Ram's Lodge offers comfortable, reasonably-priced accommodation with easy access to many of Manchester's landmarks. Within walking distance of The Christie Hospital, Owen's Park Hall of Residence, and the array of bars, eateries, shops and amenities in the local area, The Ram is in a great location for anything you'll need during a flying visit, a city break, or a longer stay. On our doorstep is access to some of the best public transport in the world, connecting you to the wherever you need to be (see below).

Our clean, comfortable, and modestly-decorated rooms are well-equipped: all are en-suite (with both a bath and a shower), have a Freeview TV, and include complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Being offset from the main road, the rooms are as quiet as they are convenient.

On the hotel grounds is the sister pub The Ram & Shackle, a large pub popular with students, local residents and hotel guests; with vibrant decor, many TV's showing sports, a large selection of cheap drinks, games machines, pool tables, a dart board, plenty of regular and one-off events, and a friendly, lively, welcoming atmosphere, The Ram & Shackle is a great place to relax and socialise. The hotel and pub buildings are separate, so guests get all of the pub to enjoy without having to go far, but can return to the quiet hotel to rest.
